Wow I cannot believe it has been 10 years since I left home…

I came to Canada just for a well-deserved “vacation”! LOL 😂

Long Story short

One day I will tell my entire adventure, but to make a very long story short: After several years of non-stop hard work as the manager in a marketing department in Costa Rica, I needed a vacation. Not a “one week” break, I really needed at least a month off from everything. Yeah, it was a very demanding job (you know, the kind of work where one person does the job of 3 people) and I was drained. So after looking into different options for travelling I decided to come to Canada.

Why Canada? Well the main reason was to learn and practice my english, and in the meantime to experience a new culture. The first couple days were hard because I didn’t know anyone, and I didn’t know the language either, but I managed to find a place where to live and meet new people.

Slowly I started falling in love with Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec. These cities were so welcoming and so beautiful that I decided to find a way to stay around a little longer to explore such an amazing country.

TEN YEARS HAVE PASSED SINCE THAT DAY I LEFT!!! ✈

Surely have been 10 years full of adventures … and I look forward to many more to come!
